The Block Development Officer has intimated the learned advocate representing the State that the Block Development Officer contacted the petitioner and enquired over telephone as to whether he filed the instant writ petition to which the petitioner answered in the affirmative that he filed the writ petition seeking interest on account of delayed payment of his terminal benefits.

In view of the above, the order dated June 19, 2023 stands re-imposed.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
