Veena Kichlu v. Pijush Kanti Bose
25.07.2022
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Item No.37 CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION Ct.No.34 dc.
C.R.R. 1755 of 2005 Veena Kichlu versus Pijush Kanti Bose & Anr.
In Re: An Application under Section 401 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
Md. Anwar Hossain, Ms. Manisha Sharma ... For the State.
The present revisional application has been preferred against the order dated 11.05.2005 passed in connection with Misc. Case No. 5625 of 2003 arising out of New Alipore Police Station Case No. 157 dated 11.07.2003.
The subject matter of challenge relates to confirmation of an interim bail being passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Alipore.
The said order was passed in the year 2005 and more than 17 years have passed.
As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Manisha Sharma, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities. Having regard to the passage of time which has passed and this Court has not been apprised whether the liberty so granted has been misused, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for by this Court at this stage.
Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 1755 of 2005 is dismissed.
All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
