Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of information being furnished to the local police authorities including the Superintendent of Police, Hooghly Rural, no steps were taken and the petitioner has been suffering mentally for the act and action of the accused persons.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on enquiry being conducted, Pandua PS Case No. 515 of 2025 dated 04.07.2025 has been registered for investigation. It is submitted by the learned advocate for the State that as and when further materials are unearthed, provisions of the BNS would be added in course of investigation.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 12557 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report (without annexures) be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
