Affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept with the records.

The petitioner retired from service on November 30, 2017. Allegation is that she is being paid pension under ROPA 2009. She ought to be paid pension in terms of ROPA 2019.

It appears that the petitioner applied before the authority seeking correction and for grant of benefit under ROPA 2019 but the said representation does not contain proper fact and figures.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to apply for obtaining benefit under ROPA 2019.

If such application is made, the same shall be considered by the District Inspector of Schools (PE), Murshidabad in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of the representation.

If the grievance of the petitioner is found to be proper, then necessary remedial steps shall be taken.

7.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
