1. The appeal is arising out of an order dated 2nd December, 2022 passed in WPA 26639 of 2022 by Hon'ble Single Judge on a petition filed by a group of disgruntled candidates who participated in 2012 recruitment process conducted by the District Primary School Council, Purba Medinipur and ventilated their grievance after 10 years on the basis of some uncorroborated statements from a member of a recruitment board alleging corruption in the recruitment process.

2. It is submitted on behalf of the appellants that appointments have been made on the

basis of recommendation of a political party and the recruitment board was consisted of relatives of the persons who have been recruited. The statements are not verified.

In any event, the petitioners did not find any reason to challenge omission of their names in the panel claimed to have been prepared in 2014. The learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petition on the ground of inexcusable delay and unverified statements alleging corruption.

3. On such consideration, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the learned Single Judge.

4. Accordingly, the appeal and the connected application stand dismissed.

5. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
