Khan Ms. Mayukhi Mitra ... for the State Having considered materials on record bearing in mind statements of the witnesses which show that the petitioner is the principal assailant, we are of the opinion that he does not stand on the same footing with co-accuseds who have been granted bail/anticipatory bail and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
