The writ petitioner complains of inaction on the part of the Bishnupur Police Station on 19.08.2019. The complainant/petitioner has alleged that his son and daughter-in-law being the Respondent nos. 5 and 6 have inflicted torture upon him and as a consequence he had to leave his own house.

The Inspector-in-charge, Bishnupur Police Station has filed a report on 01.09.2021 wherefrom it appears that charge sheet has been filed being Bishnupur PS CS No. 586/19 dt. 29.08.2021 U/S 341/323/506/34 of the I. P. C. and 25 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 against the son and daughter-in-

law.

This court is, therefore, of the view that there is no inaction on the part of the Bishnupur Police Station.

However, since the petitioner complains against his son and daughter-in-law being the private respondents and alleges that he is unable to live in his own house by reason of conduct of the private respondents, he may seek remedies under the aforesaid Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

The writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs.
