The State of West Bengal and others Mr. Somnath Mukherjee, Advocate ... for the petitioners Mr. Samrat Sen, ld. AAAG Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee, Ms. Manali Ali, Advocates ... for the State Affidavit of service filed by petitioners is taken on record.

The grievance raised in this petition is that though the respondent authority has not completed the syllabus and not given the preparatory break yet has declared the examination in various departments of the university. At this stage, a limited submission has been made by learned counsel for petitioners that the petitioners be submitted a detailed representation raising the grievance before respondent No.8 i.e. the Controller of Examination, Kazi Nazrul University and a direction be issued to consider the petitioners' representation.

Learned counsel for the State does not dispute such submission. Similar direction has been issued in another case also.

Hence, we dispose of the present petition permitting the petitioners to file an appropriate representation raising the grievance before respondent No.8. On receipt

WPA(P) 285 of 2022 of the said representation, respondent No.8 will duly consider the grievance of the petitioners and will take a decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a week from the date of receipt of the representation.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
