The petitioner and his family members have been restored possession of their house. The private respondents continue to intimidate and threaten the petitioner. It is stated that the private respondents are threatening the petitioner by saying, "how long police can protect you". In view of the above, upon receipt of any formal complaint from the petitioner, Minakhan Police shall take immediate coercive steps against the private respondents. Appropriate security to the petitioner may also be restored after expiry of the periods stipulated on 19th January, 2023. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
