Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner made a representation before the learned CWC, Berhampore, Murshidabad regarding release of her daughter who has attained the age of majority on 28th March, 2024 but till date the representation was not considered by the CWC. On 6th April, 2024 after talking to the officers of CWC the petitioner made a further representation before the Officer-in-Charge, Islampur Police Station, P.O. & P.S. Islampur, District-Murshidabad for consideration of the representation made by the petitioner before the Officer-in-Charge to expedite the situation and inform the CWC to return the girl child to his father (the petitioner herein) but no steps have been taken till date.

Mr. Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the State is present.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Let the State respondents consider the representations made before them and return the daughter of the petitioner to her father at an earliest but in accordance with law.

With the above direction the writ petition being WPA 13887 of 2024 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
