Mookherjee, Learned Advocate General, Mr. Anirban Ray, Mr. Raja Saha, Mr. Nilotopal Chatterjee ..for the State Mr. Bhaskar Prosad Banerjee ..for the Union of India This petition was filed with a grievance that on the onset of Covid-19 Pandemic the State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, West Bengal had stopped all functioning and judicial proceedings. Counsel for both the parties have jointly pointed out that subsequently the functioning of the State Commission as also the Consumer Forums in the State has started by physical mode.

In view of this, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. The petition is, accordingly, dismissed. (Prakash Shrivastava, C.J.) (Rajarshi Bharadwaj, J.)
