The petitioner and the private opposite party seek disposal of the case pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore in terms of the joint compromise petition filed by the parties.

It appears that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled.

In view of the above, allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise.

The criminal revision being CRR No. 1990 of 2023 is allowed in terms of the joint compromise application filed by the petitioner and the private opposite party. The connected application being CRAN No. 2 of 2024 is also disposed of.

The proceeding being G.R.Case No. 10141 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas be quashed.

The petitioner be set at liberty at once and discharged from his bail bonds.
