Ms. Soni Ojha Ms. Sonia Nandy .....for the petitioner Mr. Himadri Sikhar Chakraborty Ms. Susnita Saha ......for the State The writ petition has been filed by a secured creditor/respondent Bank under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 for a direction on the District Magistrate to dispose of the application. According to learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the application is pending since 2018.

Learned counsel appearing for the District Magistrate submits that a meeting was scheduled on 19th April, 2023 which however could not proceed since the petitioner sought for an adjournment. The next meeting is fixed on 28th April, 2023.

WPA 13483 of 2021 is accordingly disposed of with the direction on the District Magistrate, Howrah to dispose of the application within the time fixed under the provisos to Section 14(1)(ix) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.
