The petitioner has filed the instant application praying for a direction upon the authorities for consideration of the representation of the petitioner for renewal of the route permit of the bus, which has expired on 21st February, 2023.

Mr. Dilip Kumar Samanta, Learned Advocate appearing for his client, Mr. Santanu Gupta, submits that his client has the existing permit of the said route and if any direction is passed in the writ application he will be affected.

Considered the rival submissions of the respective parties.

This Court finds that no purpose will be served

keeping the writ petition pending any further. Accordingly, WPA 12847 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.2 to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner for renewal of the route permit of the bus concerned within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

If the authority finds that hearing of the existing owner is required, he may be given notice at the time of hearing of the case.

Let the speaking order be passed within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the same may be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereafter.
