Mr. Salil Kumar Maiti Ms. Dolan Samanta ..for the petitioners Mr. Nilanjan Bhattacharjee, Sr. Standing Counsel Ms. Jayita Dhar Chakraborty Mr. Rhitam Chatterjee ..for the State Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners allege that the authorities have not yet disbursed the compensation amount to the petitioners till date.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners draws the attention of the Court to the hearing notices dated 6th May, 2025 and 26th June, 2025 and submits that though the hearing was conducted by the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Haldia on the dates mentioned in the said hearing notices and the petitioners duly appeared at the said hearing but the decision has not yet been communicated to the petitioners till date. In the event an order has been passed pursuant to the heading conducted in terms of the aforesaid hearing notices dated 6th May, 2025 and 26th June, 2025, the

reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioners by the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Haldia as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of two weeks from the receipt of a server copy of this order. If no reasoned order has been passed till date, the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Haldia being the 3rd respondent is directed to hear the petitioners and other interested parties afresh and dispose of the issue regarding the R.D. refund relating to land acquisition compensation for Mouza Balughata, J.L. No. 154, L.A. Case No. 09/06-07 in respect of the plots as specifically mentioned in the hearing notices dated 6th May, 2025 and 26th June, 2025 and dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of six weeks from the receipt of a server copy of this order.

With the above observations, WPA 13165 of 2026 stands disposed of.

There shall be however no order as to costs.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
