Pursuant to our order dated 21st December, 2020, Mr. Sanjoy Ghosh, Inspector-in-Charge, Baguiati Police Station is personally present in Court. He has tendered his unconditional apology for the lapses. He has assured that such lapses would not occur in future.

Raghunath Chakraborty, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has admitted that last night the petitioner received G.D. Number in relation to the complaint dated 15th August, 2018 through e-mail. In view of such compliance, although belated, and in view of unconditional apology tendered by Mr. Sanjoy Ghosh, Inspector-in-Charge, Baguiati Police Station, we drop the proceeding and his personal appearance is dispensed with.

The contempt application being CPAN 223 of 2020 is, accordingly, disposed of.

The undertaking and the unconditional apology tendered by Mr. Sanjoy Ghosh, Inspector-in-Charge,

Baguiati Police Station is recorded in a separate sheet and should be signed by Mr. Sanjoy Ghosh which shall be kept with record.
