The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has made a complaint on 8th May, 2023 to the Superintendent of Police Baruipur, South 24 Parganas requesting to provide adequate police assistance and protection to open the lock illegally placed by the person who have been named in the compliant.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that after receipt of complaint, the same was forwarded by the Superintendent of Police to the SDPO Canning, SubDivision, South 24 Parganas on 15th May, 2023 but till date no action has been taken. Counsel for the petitioner submits that if a direction has given to the concerned authority for disposal of the writ petition the petitioner will be satisfied.

Considering the submission made by the Counsels for the respective parties this Court disposed of the WPA

12862 of 2023 by directing the respondent nos. 5 and 7 to take appropriate steps on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 8th May, 2023 within a week from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.
