Heard learned advocates appearing for the parties. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that this writ petition is not maintainable.

From the prayer made in this writ petition, as appears from prayer (a), there is no necessity to pass any fresh or further order, since the issue involve in this writ petition has already been decided by the judgment of this Court passed in WPA 9597 of 2019 (Aktarul Islam Kayal & Ors -vs.- The State of West Bengal & Ors.) on 11th December 2019 in a bunch of writ petitions.

I am of the view that if the case of the petitioners stand on the same footing as of the petitioners in the aforesaid case, the present petitioners may avail benefit of the said judgment.

With this observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
