Mr. Swapan Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the State is directed to immediately communicate with the Commissioner of Police, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate so that the petitioner is immediately taken into custody within 48 hours and produced before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore, since the anticipatory bail was rejected in the year 2021 and by adopting sly means the petitioner has been evading the process of law. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. (A) 2146 of 2023 is dismissed.
