The petitioner seeks parity with the co-accused Chiranjit Mandal who was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 22nd May, 2025.

Learned counsel for the State does not oppose the said fact. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that since the petitioner is similarly circumstanced with the co-accused who has been granted anticipatory bail earlier, he is entitled to the same benefit.

Accordingly in the event of arrest, the petitioner namely Bapan Mandal be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. The petitioner shall appear before the learned jurisdictional Court and pray for regular bail within two weeks from date. The application for anticipatory bail is disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
