Learned Advocate submits that

Steps have been taken by the DSP, Medinipur, who is in charge of CID, West Bengal.

Let, the Status Report submitted by the CID, West Bengal be kept with the record.

On behalf of the CBI, a communication has been sent by the SP, CBI to the Addl. Director General, CID, West Bengal, which has been handed over as per the submissions advanced by Mr. De, learned advocate for the CBI and Ms. Biswas, learned advocate for the State.

Thus, it seems that things have progressed.

However, so far as the certification is concerned in respect of the Compact Disc, it has been submitted on behalf of the State that a week's time is required.

In view of same, the proceedings are adjourned for a week and, it would appear under the same heading on 7th of October, 2024.

Let a fresh report be submitted by both the CBI and State on the next date so fixed.
