And In Re : Najim Molla .... petitioner Mr. Satadru Lahiri Mr. Safdar Azam ....for the petitioner Mr. Rudradipta Nandy, learned APP Mr. Subrato Roy .... for the State Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits there is case and counter case were registered between the parties. They did not have intention to murder. He prays for bail. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioner in the murder. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

In order to expedite the trial we request the trial court to take necessary steps to ensure the counter case is promptly committed and transferred to it and tried one after another. (Ajay Kumar Gupta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
