1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Regard being had to the manner of assault, nature of weapon used, nature of injury sustained by the victim, though the case is a good case for regular bail, we do not deem it just and proper to exercise our discretion in favour of the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C. at this stage.

3. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is rejected.
