Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the First Information Report does not implicate the petitioner. He also submits that the petitioner is a student and he is about 20 years of age. He further submits that since charge-sheet was submitted by the police, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no longer required. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws attention of the Court to the statement made by the victim under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and to the injury report.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the injury report, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 5644 of 2021 is dismissed.
