Syama Prasad Anushilan Kendra Parichalan Samity has approached this Court with the present writ petition, inter alia, seeking permission to hold 'Mahayajna' on 15th June, 2025 on the ground which is owned by Raghunathpur High School (H.S.), South 24 Parganas (hereinafter referred to as 'said school'). It is submitted by the learned advocate that request was made on behalf of the petitioner to the Headmaster of the said school seeking permission and in response thereto a letter dated 4th June, 2025 was issued by the Headmaster which is at page 27 of the writ petition.
Said school authority being respondent nos.7 and 8 are represented by learned advocates who have opposed the prayer of the petitioner seeking permission to hold 'Mahayajna' on 15th June, 2025 on the school
ground. In support of such contention reliance is placed on the letter dated 4th June, 2025 issued by the Headmaster of the said school.
On perusal of the letter dated 4th June, 2025 and in consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, it appears that the space is owned by the said school authority. Therefore, it depends on the decision of the said school authority whether they would permit the petitioner to hold 'Mahayajna' or not. It is apparent on perusal of the letter dated 4th June, 2025 that the said school authority has refused the application of the petitioner seeking permission to hold 'Mahayajna' on its ground. Therefore no relief can be granted to the petitioner.
Hence, writ petition stands dismissed.
