Petitioner has preferred an application for expeditious hearing of the proceedings vide M Case No. 546 of 2018. There were an earlier direction of this court in CRR 883 of 2021. Circumstances changed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd court, Barasat. Learned court reached the stage on 19-09-2023 for evidence of PW-1. However, thereafter amendments were proposed to be filed. The hearing in respect of the said amendment is still pending. The learned trial court is directed to dispose of such hearing on the next date so fixed for the case being M. Case No. 546 of 2018. The learned trial court would try to complete the evidence in the changed circumstances as expeditiously as possible and conclude the trial of the case by 31st December, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2038 of 2024 is disposed of.
