Learned Advocate for the appellant has come back with proper instructions. He says that the appellant will be happy to make all her prayers before the learned Single Judge.

Accordingly, we dispose of this appeal being MAT/990/2023 and the connected application being IA No: CAN/1/2023, granting liberty to the appellant to make all prayers before the learned Single Judge including the prayer that she should be permitted to

appear before the Regional Passport Authority and make appropriate submission.

Mr. Chakraborty, learned Advocate appearing for the Regional Passport Authority, says that the writ petition itself is not maintainable in view of the availability of an alternative remedy. We leave that point open.
