Pursuant to the earlier direction a report has been submitted on behalf of the State which reflects that the appellant has served out the sentence which was imposed by the learned trial court in connection with Belur PS Case No. 30/2017 dated 05-02-2017 corresponding to Special T. R. No. 51 of 2017. A report has been submitted by the concerned Officer of Belur PS including the report of the Superintendent, Howrah District Correctional Home which also incorporates the period of custody and the manner in which the remission was obtained while in custody.

Having considered that the appellant has served out the sentence, I am of the opinion that further pendency of the appeal is unwarranted. Accordingly, the present appeal being CRA 370 of 2019 is dismissed as infrucuous.

Report so submitted by Mr. Bapuli, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State be kept with the record.
