We have perused the materials appearing in the case diary as well as the report submitted by Mr. Nandy, learned Advocate appearing for the State. It reflects that the petitioner is a history-sheeter and there are number of narcotic cases against him.

Mere non-recovery may not be sufficient in the present case for favouring the petitioner with an order of anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The petitioner is directed to approach the regular Court for bail. The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. (A) 2168 of 2023 is dismissed.
