1. Heard learned Counsel for both the parties.

2. This petition for anticipatory bail being CRM (A) 2170 of 2023 arises out of Tamluk Police Station Case No. 1062 of 2021 dated 20.12.2021 under Sections 376/417 IPC.

3. The petitioner is alleged to have established consensual sex relationship with an adult girl aged about 31 years. Chargersheet in the case is stated to have been filed.

4. Considered the materials placed by learned Counsel for the parties including the statement of the victim.

5. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner, circumstances involved and completion of investigation in the meantime, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Medinipur, Tamluk in G.R. case No. 3304 of 2021 within four weeks from today.

6. On his surrender and application for bail, the petitioner shall

be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is allowed.
