Learned advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.
We have considered the materials on record. Trial is in progress. A number of witnesses have already been examined.
Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
We request the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date preferably within a
period of one year from the date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
Parties shall communicate a copy of this order to the trial court for due compliance.
