The petitioner complains that the authorities have allowed flood and other sewage to enter water into his fish tank, as a consequence thereof all his fish died and his pisciculture has been completely ruined.

A representation has been made to the District Magistrate, Malda on 28th July, 2021 which has not been considered till date.

In that view of the matter, the District Magistrate, Malda shall consider the representation of the petitioner as aforesaid as expeditiously as possible after giving due personal hearing to the petitioner or his legal representative a reasoned order may be passed. Appropriate measures shall also be suggested and taken by the District Magistrate, Malda to prevent recurrence of the aforesaid incident, if the allegations of the petitioner are found to be true. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
