The grievance of the petitioner is directed against an e-auction notice being conducted by the respondent under section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI). It is submitted on behalf of the Punjab National Bank that the impugned sale has become infructuous because of want of bidders. It is also submitted on behalf of the Punjab National Bank they would be causing conducting a fresh eaucting sale in respect of the subject property. 2.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition has become infructuous.

WPA 13231 of 2026 stands dismissed. Liberty is granted to the Punjab National Bank to initiate a fresh e-auction sale in accordance with the provisions of the SARFAESI. It is made clear that

there has been no adjudication on the merits or maintainability of this petition.
