Petitioner approached this Court as his bank account has been frozen by the Baranagar Police Station.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report which encloses a document wherein a mail has been sent to the competent authority as also to the bank which reflects that HDB Financial Services Limited is maintaining account no. HBDREP42435314 wherein a subject matter of Rs. 19,207/- has been directed to be freezed/attached. The Officer who has on behalf of the Baranagar Police Station communicated with the

bank authorities, has requested the bank authorities to unfreeze rest of the amount.

Accordingly, since the police authorities have directed the bank to unfreeze and allow the petitioner to operate the account by attaching only a sum of Rs. 19,207/-, the bank authorities would abide by the communication made by the SubInspector of Police attached to Baranagar Police Station in reference to Baranagar Police Station G.D.E. No. 997/25 dated 13.03.2025.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 12925 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
