The allegation is about the violation of provisions of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1984 and Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.

Learned counsel for the respondents referring to sections 14 and 16 read with Schedule I of the NGT Act has submitted that the petitioner has a remedy of approaching the National Green Tribunal and raise his grievance before the said tribunal.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to approach National Green Tribunal.

The prayer is allowed.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as prayed for.
