In view of the police authorities having taken steps, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. The police authorities will submit their report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure or under Section 193 of the BNSS in accordance with law before the jurisdictional court. The jurisdictional court would take steps in consonance with the prayer so advanced. If the petitioner is aggrieved, she will ventilate her grievance before the jurisdictional court.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 13982 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
