1. Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record.

2. Petitioner was appointed as Primary Teacher on 23rd July, 2021. Petitioner made an application for transfer on medical ground on 5th March, 2025 seeking transfer from one school of Purba Bardhaman to another school in Nadia. On the date of making application seeking transfer on 5th March, 2025, admittedly petitioner did not complete five years of service as confirmed teacher. This Court has held in a writ petition being WPA 7329 of 2025 (Priyanka Sarkar Vs. The State of

West Bengal & Ors.) that a primary teacher who has not completed five years of confirmed service is not eligible to apply for transfer.

3. Since, in the present case petitioner has not completed five years of confirmed service on the date of making application seeking transfer on medical ground, she is not entitled to be transferred as sought for by submitting application dated 5th March, 2025.

4. Hence, writ petition stands dismissed.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be given to the parties expeditiously, if applied for, on usual undertakings.
