Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner No.1 had sexually assaulted a minor girl. We have considered the materials on record. Allegations against the petitioners are grave. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to them at this stage. We request the Trial Court to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
