Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner complains that he is being harassed at the behest of the private respondent nos. 6 and 7. They were even assaulted lastly in the month of April 2024. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the directions passed by a coordinate Bench, the petitioner would get a shelter at his own residence. However, subsequent atrocities were inflicted upon him by the private respondents.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 6 and 7 disputes and denies the claim of the petitioner and submits that the petitioner intends to throw away the respondent nos. 6 and 7 and with that end in view have approached this Court.

State has submitted a report which reflects that series of cases are pending inter se the parties apart from the proceedings under Sections 107 and 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Be that as it may, the police authorities are directed to keep a strict vigil so that the present petitioner is not harassed or humiliated at the behest of the private respondents. Such strict vigil would continue for a period of four weeks. In the meantime, the petitioner would approach the appropriate authority under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. If any specific order is passed by the appropriate authority under the said Act, the police authorities would implement such order passed under the said Act.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 14063 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
