Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioners is taken on record.

Document is filed in support of depositing court fee.

Petitioners are working as primary teachers in their respective schools situate in two different districts. Petitioner no.1 is working in a primary school in Howrah whereas petitioner no.2 is working in a school in Paschim Medinipur.

It is submitted that both the petitioners are confirmed primary teachers and they have made application seeking mutual transfer.

The grievance of the petitioners is though

application is pending before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education being respondent no.4 but till date no decision is taken. 6.

District Primary School Council, Howrah and District Primary School Council, Paschim Medinipur are represented by learned advocates. 7.

West Bengal Board of Primary Education and State respondents are represented by learned advocates. 8.

On consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking note of the documents at pages 20 and 21 of the writ petition, it appears that mutual transfer application of the petitioners are pending before the respondent no.4. 9.

Hence, respondent no.4 is directed to take decision on mutual transfer application of the petitioners in accordance with law by six weeks from the date of communication of this order and the decision shall be communicated to the parties by fortnight thereafter.

10. Writ petition stands disposed of.

11. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

12. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
