In Re : An application under Section 407 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973;

In the matter of : Pravabati Gantait and others ...petitioners. The present revisional application was preferred for transfer of CR No.78 of 2012 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 from the court of the learned ACJM, Jhargram, Paschim Medinipur to the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore.

I find that the revisional application is of the year 2013 and more than eight years have passed in the meantime. Further, when the matter has been taken up, no information has been furnished before this Court regarding the present stage of the proceedings before the learned Magistrate and, as such, this Court is of the view that no interference is called for. Thus, CRR 1284 of 2013 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
