The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that notwithstanding the FIR being No. 1236 of 2021 dated July 17, 2021 registered with the Baruipur Police Station, investigation has not been completed. The writ petitioner submits that her father, the victim had traveled to Kolkata to register transfer of sale of a property. The death of her father on April 19, 2021, was not informed to her family in time. Admittedly, the corona pandemic was at full swing at that relevant point of time.

Be that as it may, the Baruipur Police Station shall complete investigation into the matter and submit a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate as expeditiously as possible, preferably

within a period of one month from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petitioner is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
