Considering the grievous nature of the hurt inflicted upon the victim, which would appear from the injury report and the fact that all three petitioners are absconding and have not been chased despite three attempts made by the prosecution for search, we are of the view that the petitioners should be directed to surrender before the jurisdictional court at Birbhum and obtain orders from that court for regular bail. Accordingly, CRM 5677 of 2021 is rejected and disposed of on the basis of the above.
