The innocuous prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of O.A. 3097 of 2025 (LRTT).

The affidavit-of-service filed today be kept on record. 3.
From a perusal of the order dated December 05, 2025 passed by the learned Tribunal, we find that the petitioner has been directed to furnish a copy of the RS records of rights by the next date, that is, September 09, 2026. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already obtained such copy.

In the self-same order, a status report was also sought from the concerned B.L. & L.R.O.

Accordingly, WPLRT 107 of 2026 is disposed of by directing the concerned B.L. & L.R.O to furnish a status report before the learned Tribunal in terms of the direction dated December 05, 2025 passed by the First Bench, West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal in O.A. 3097 of 2025 (LRTT) by the returnable date. The learned Tribunal is requested to positively take up the matter for hearing as a motion as well as for consideration of interim orders, if any, on the next date fixed by it.

It is expected that the learned Tribunal shall, thereafter, dispose of the original application at the earliest, preferably within six months after the returnable date.

There will be no order as to costs.
