1. The report dated 23.6.2024 filed by the Inspector-in-Charge, English Bazar Police Station, Malda is taken on record. It appears that the said report is completely unsatisfactory. We are not satisfied with the explanation offered in the said report for approaching the Court for proclamation on 4th March, 2024.

2. Considering the statements of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C directly implicating the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the same is accordingly disposed of.

4. The personal appearance of the I.O is dispensed with for the time being.

5. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
