And In Re : Ashim Ghosh & Anr. ..... petitioners Mr. Shambhunath Ray Mrs. Amria Tewari ... for the petitioners Mr. Neguive Ahmed, learned APP Ms. Trina Mitra ... for the State Petitioners are absconded for more than six years. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners contended that the co-accuseds had been enlarged on bail. We note that the co-acusseds were enlarged on bail after detention of two years. Trial is at its fag end.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected. We direct the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
