Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. The petitioner has challenged the impugned assessment order as referred in prayer (a) to the writ petition, which is an appealable order, as such I am not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner in this writ petition. However, petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit in court today, which may be kept with the record. In the said supplementary affidavit, the petitioner has annexed documents to show that against the impugned assessment order, the petitioner has already filed two appeals and makes very innocuous prayer for direction upon the Appellate Authority to expeditiously dispose of the same. Considering such prayer of the petitioner, this writ petition, being WPA 13677 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the Appellate Authority concerned to consider

and dispose of the pending appeals in question as referred in the supplementary affidavit to the writ petition as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or its authorised representative. It is recorded that this court has not gone into the merits of the impugned assessment order and the learned Appellate Authority while disposing of the appeals in question will act strictly in accordance with law.
