In Re. CAN 1 of 2022 By this application, the applicants seek to be substituted in place and stead of the deceased writ petitioner/applicant in the contempt petition. The original applicant expired on April 19, 2022. The present applicants claimed themselves to be the legal heirs and representatives of the deceased applicant. In such circumstances, the present applicants are to be incorporated instead of the original applicant in the contempt petition.

Learned advocate appearing for the applicants is granted leave to correct the cause title of the original contempt petition.

The substituted applicants will serve a copy of the amended contempt petition upon the learned Government Pleader as also on the alleged contemnor and file an affidavit of service to such effect on the next date.

Learned Government Pleader is requested to ensure that the alleged contemnor is represented on the next date.

List the contempt petition on November 11, 2022. CAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of accordingly.
