The petitioner is complaining inordinate delay in disposal of the B.T. Appeal No. 39 of 2019 pending before the Municipal Building Tribunal, Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation submits that the delay in disposal of the said appeal has been caused due to the intervention of 'Covid-19' pandemic. The Courts are resuming normal functioning albeit gradually, the Tribunal, therefore, is requested to dispose of the said appeal expeditiously, preferably within a period of six effective working months from the date of communication of this order.

C.O. 1523 of 2021 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
