Hence, the modification application becomes infructuous. Accordingly, no further order need be passed in that regard.

The State also filed a report.

The allegations in the contempt application is that due to resistance of the alleged contemnors, the work as directed in the writ petition could not be carried out.

In view of the same having been carried out in the meantime, the extreme measures contemplated in a contempt action are not required to be resorted to. Accordingly, CPAN 762 of 2023 is disposed of. The reports filed today be kept on record.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
